This April, Wellness4Every1® is kicking off a month full of fun, energizing events for a good cause! Our first event will be on Saturday, April 10th, a virtual #Sweat4ourSchools class with Ashley McCullough to raise money for arts and wellness programming in Chicago Public Schools. This HIIT fundraising class will be from 10:00-10:40am. The suggested donation is $30.00, but we encourage everyone to join regardless of your contribution. Donations can be made on Venmo: Wellness4Every1 or through our GoFundMe: The Art of Wellness.
Ashley’s virtual workouts focus on strategic exercise selection, proper form, mobility, and moving safely and efficiently both in your workouts and throughout your day. Now a NASM certified personal trainer, fitness nutrition specialist, and creator of The Grind Before Wine, Ashley is dedicated to helping her clients learn how to break the rules. After nearly a decade of following diet and workout plans that continuously resulted in overtraining and disordered eating habits, Ashley set out to pave her own way to fitness and nutrition. The Grind Before Wine is both a brand and a lifestyle founded in freedom, strength, and joy.
Ashley was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to the city after graduating from Saint Mary’s College with a degree in Elementary Education. Ashley was a kindergarten teacher by day, personal trainer by night before closing her classroom door and opening a new door to a full-time career in fitness and nutrition in 2018. Outside of the gym, Ashley can be found writing, meal prepping, cooking, drinking wine, and pretending to get into something new on Netflix but really just watching Friends for the 187th time.
Wellness4Every1® was founded in 2016 in response to the many Chicago Public Schools that had lost their funding for arts and wellness programs. Through community partnerships and fundraising efforts, the organization helps bring these vital opportunities back to Chicago students. Wellness4Every1® has provided programming to 90 schools, reaching over 10,000 students.
