#Yoga4Every1 Challenge


We want to end 2020 on a positive note with our #Yoga4Every1 Challenge. Each week we'll share a yoga pose from our new Yoga4Every1 Book spreading awareness about diversity and inclusion in the wellness industry. We want to provide access for everyone to come together to learn some yoga and support our programming in Chicago Public Schools.

This Challenge is a choose your own adventure. It starts with the yoga pose of the week. It includes weekly virtual classes sent out every Monday. You can also join us for a Run Tour with Erica Agran. We will be hosting a 5K in Lincoln Park on Friday, November 20th at 7:30am and/or an 8K downtown Sunday, November 29th at 9:00am. How it works:

1. Donate what you can. Donations can be made through Venmo: Wellness4Every1 or on our GoFundMe page. The suggested donation for this month’s challenge is $30.00 but we encourage everyone to join regardless of your contribution.

2. Every Monday, you’ll receive an email with the yoga pose of the week and our favorite virtual classes. This email will include information about how to register for the Run Tours.

3. Go on a walk/run and take a picture/video of each yoga pose of the week.

4. Share on social media with our hashtag #Yoga4Every1 and nominate others to join the challenge.

5. Bonus - We will be announcing locations in Chicago to pick up swag and win raffle prizes including RXBAR, Lil Bucks, and Evergreen Waffles.

Every donation counts and goes directly to sustaining and growing our wellness education partnerships across Chicago.

Run Tours

This challenge includes a huge perk! Anyone who joins the #Yoga4Every1 Challenge will be able to register to attend a 5K and/or 8K run tour in Chicago led by Erica Agran! Erica is launching Chicago running tours for Go! Running Tours. (https://gorunningtours.com). She's going to lead a few of the new tours for us as a perk this month.

Running tours are a fun way to get in a few casual miles while learning new things about your city. It's not a race and there are stops for photo ops and to learn new things. You can stop for a shot of the yoga pose of the week in front of a Chicago landmark! Details below.

Friday 11/20 7:30am 5K Lincoln Park Run Tour

Lincoln Park spans 1200 acres in Chicago. It has an interesting and storied past dating back to 1842 and amazing natural beauty. Join us to learn the history and to see some of its amazing monuments and to check out the native plants, birds, mammals, and more!

Sunday 11/29 9:00am 8K Tower to Tower Downtown Bucket List Run Tour

This “bucket list” run is an 8K (5 mile) loop from one iconic tower in Chicago to another. Start at the Willis Tower or the John Hancock Tower and see many of the iconic sights in the Chicago Loop! We’ll run on the Magnificent Mile and the Riverwalk to Millennium Park and Grant Park and see major city sights throughout.
